Varmax Liquor Pantry is a wonderful wine and spirits store located on the Greenwhich / Port Chester border. They offer a great selection and always have something on sale that you can't say 'no' to! They also offer wine tastings at their new wine tasting bar. To promote each tasting, they offer a 15% discount off all the wines being poured the day of the tasting -- starting with 1 bottle. This Friday, August 13th and Saturday, August 14th they are tasting Trumpeter Malbec with a rep from the winery. This wine from Argentine, South America and ranks high 80's or 90 on the rating pedigree. VM Liquor Pantry is currently selling this for $7.99 (it can retail up to $10.99) and with 15% the VM Liquor Pantry price it's only $6.79 a bottle! It's practically a steal at that price and definitely a good choice at that!
Tasting hours are 4-7pm this Friday and 2-5pm on Saturday. I will be there at the later part of Friday if you want to come by.
